Now no one ever said that losing weight is easy but it doesn’t have to be difficult either. We can have something in between; something that can be manageable, something that requires sacrifice from us but not to the extent of running ourselves to the ground. So, is dieting the answer?
There are countless diet plans that have emerged over the years. You might have heard of the famous Lemonade diet, the Atkins diet, or the South Beach diet. These diet plans even have the endorsement of celebrities. But do these diet plans really work? Some say that dieting is the answer to losing weight, but it is not a fool proof plan. Dieting has certain limitations which do not agree to all people.
It can be costly
With a certain diet plan, you might be required to stock on ingredients that might be on the expensive side. The Hampton diet for example requires the expensive Australian macadamia nut oil. If you are watching your budget, dieting may be a problem for you. If you have to prepare the meals recommended by your diet plan, the preparation will prove to be difficult if you do not have the right ingredients.
It can require much preparation
Diet plans recommend meals for you. The advantage is you know what to cook and you know how to prepare it. But, do you have the time? If you are a very busy person, diet plans that require you to prepare a customized meal might not be for you. While you might commit with the diet plan at the beginning, in the long run, it can ruin your routine and you would have lost much needed time. The Jenny Craig diet doesn’t require much meal preparation but enrolling yourself in the diet plan is quite expensive. Sigh.
Eating out may be a problem
Not all restaurants are flexible to every diet plan out there. If you are eating out to celebrate with friends or colleagues, you might have trouble ordering. The menu is not that flexible and unless you know the chef personally you might as well sit this one out. But if you’re lucky, you can find something suitable but then again if you’re not you can either commit to your diet plan or indulge just this once – which can promptly ruin your progress so far.
Alcohol fasting
Plenty of diet plans restrict alcohol. If you love your wine, then this can be a problem. But if you pride yourself of your self-discipline then an alcohol fast is no problem.
One way or another, these might be reasons why dieting didn’t work out for you. It is hard to find a diet plan that is just perfect (or close to perfect). Where do you find a diet plan that’s not very costly, (almost) zero prep time, restaurant and alcohol friendly? Well, dieting can’t be for everyone so if it isn’t for you, how can you lose weight?
Thank you very much diet pills (they work really well too). There are diet pills that can be bought over the counter and there are those who need a prescription. Diet pills or weight loss pills work in a number of ways. Some act as appetite suppressants. Some prevent the absorption of fat while some increase the body’s metabolic rate. If you’re not into dieting, why not consider weight loss pills? That just might be the answer.
